TAIPEI (XFN-ASIA) - Taiwan’s Executive Yuan, or cabinet, will consider setting up a new credit guarantee fund to counteract the reluctance among banks to extend residential mortgages, the Economic Daily News reported, citing minister without portfolio Fan Liang-shiow.
